Oncology Medical Director Needed | $1 MM + Proven Earnings | Kansas City

Job Opportunity: Hematology/Oncology Physician

Our organization, a physician-led independent hospital with over 450 beds located in Kansas City, is on the lookout for a Hematology/Oncology physician to join our team and contribute to the development of a community-focused oncology program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Join a community-oriented hematology and oncology team, with a need for two oncologists to support our expanding program.
• Manage a manageable patient load, averaging around 17 patients daily.
• Utilize existing resources including Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Financial Navigation, and Nurse Navigation.
• Work with Oracle/Cerner EMR systems.
• Participate in weekly Tumor Conferences as part of our partnership with the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
• Access clinical trial resources to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Oncology APRN for inpatient coverage, averaging 15 patients per day.
• Encourage applications from both practicing oncologists and 2027 fellows as we grow rapidly.
• H-1B visa sponsorship is available; however, we are unable to sponsor J-1 waivers.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Medical Director will receive a competitive base salary along with medical director compensation and wRVU bonuses, with potential earnings exceeding $1,000,000 annually.
