Why Join Our Organization?- Attractive Starting Salary: $375,000-$400,000 annually, with potential performance-based pay of up to $15,000 each year. Additionally, you may qualify for Proficiency Awards, which are separate from Pay for Performance incentives.
- Regular Salary Reviews: Salary evaluations will take place every two years, along with annual cost-of-living adjustments.
- Education Debt Reduction Program: This role qualifies for the EDRP, which assists with student loan repayment. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria as per VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of starting. Approval, award amounts (up to $200,000), and eligibility periods (one to five years) will be determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after a thorough review of the application.

- Collaborative Team: Join a dedicated group of 18 radiologists, including 4 Interventional Radiologists, 6 Interventional Radiology technologists, and 7 Interventional Radiology Registered Nurses. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped for delivering complex and impactful interventions for Veterans.
- Diverse Practice Opportunities: Experience a balanced role with 50% focused on Interventional Radiology and 50% on General Diagnostic Radiology, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient care. Diagnostic responsibilities include general X-ray, ultrasound, body CT, and body MRI.
- Advanced Interventional Procedures: Engage in a variety of image-guided interventions, including Y-90 radioembolization, prostate artery embolization, endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease, spinal procedures, biopsies, drainages, and more.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participate in our facility's weekly vascular conference, genitourinary tumor board, and liver/GI tumor board to enhance patient care. Collaborate with leading specialists in oncology, surgery, and vascular medicine.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- M.D. or D.O. from a medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association. Foreign medical graduates must be verified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
- Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth, or in the District of Columbia.
- Completion of Residency Training is required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
