Our organization is on the lookout for Inpatient Neurologists and Pediatric Neurologists in New York, NY.
We have openings for a Full-time Pediatric Neurologist to join our esteemed Division of Pediatric Neurology, which is recognized nationally. We welcome applicants at any academic level (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) who can secure an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, based on their experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding clinical abilities and a keen interest in both outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology.
Inpatient Neurology:
This part-time/per diem role focuses on general inpatient neurology within our New York City-based health system. You will deliver exceptional care to patients dealing with a variety of complex neurological conditions and the neurological aspects of systemic illnesses. Note that acute stroke and neurovascular issues are managed by our specialized Stroke Team. You will often work alongside our excellent neurosurgical and neurological subspecialists, particularly in areas such as epilepsy and stroke. For those interested, there is a chance to engage in innovative teleneurology coverage. Additionally, due to our department's strong ties with the Icahn School of Medicine and various residency and fellowship programs, teaching opportunities may be available for qualified candidates, although this is not mandatory. Coverage may include weekdays, weeknights, and/or weekends, with potential flexibility in response to changing needs.
Our newly established, system-wide Neurohospitalist Division is a vibrant and expanding environment that values creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm. The division is working on setting practice standards, metrics, and protocols to enhance the quality of inpatient neurology care across the system, collaborating with Neuro Critical Care, Stroke, Epilepsy, and other relevant services, while leveraging technology to improve care quality and safety. Our Department of Neurology is dedicated to holistic patient care, emphasizing a patient-centered approach that aligns with the mission of the Icahn School of Medicine, focusing on integrated care, research, and education. Candidates should have strong clinical skills and a genuine interest in inpatient general neurology consultation.

Compensation ranges from $210,000 to $350,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).

Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, collections, and community needs.
