Our organization is in search of an innovative and committed physician to take on the role of Program Director for our ACGME-accredited Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program. This position presents a remarkable chance to guide and influence the future of hematologists and oncologists within a vibrant academic and clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all facets of the fellowship program, ensuring adherence to ACGME standards and institutional guidelines.

  • Design and uphold a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum that merges clinical excellence, research, and professional growth.

  • Guide and assess fellows, promoting a culture of inquiry, empathy, and continuous learning.

  • Work collaboratively with faculty from various disciplines to enrich educational and clinical experiences.

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for fellows.

  • Engage in clinical care, research, and scholarly activities within our Cancer Institute and Hematology-Oncology Associates.

Qualifications
  • Board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.

  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience following fellowship completion.

  • Administrative experience is required, along with at least three years as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency or hematology/medical oncology fellowship.

  • A proven dedication to medical education and mentorship.

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Delaware.
