Position OverviewWe are looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN physician to become part of our OBGYN team at a regional medical center in Shakopee, MN, situated just 20 miles south of the Twin Cities. In this position, you will deliver in-house obstetrical support for the labor and delivery unit, as well as the antepartum and postpartum units, including triage areas. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Performing emergency cesarean sections and managing spontaneous or operative vaginal deliveries.
- Conducting postpartum tubal ligations.
- Providing care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients with a focus on cultural sensitivity, individual rights, and legal obligations.
- Managing overall patient care for those without a designated physician and those needing urgent obstetric interventions.
- Basic gynecologic surgical skills, including D&C and laparoscopy, are essential.

Compensation for this role is set at a flat rate of $191.00 per hour, with adjustments based on experience, education, skills, location, and internal equity considerations.
