Our organization is in search of a talented Hematologist/Oncologist with substantial clinical expertise to launch and grow a new practice in the Northeast region of Columbia, SC.

This role presents a remarkable chance for a proactive and clinically proficient medical oncologist who has experience in a collaborative, patient-focused, and expanding setting.

Position Highlights:
  • The weekly schedule will involve a combination of managing the outpatient clinic and the infusion suite.

  • Clinical research is encouraged, with all physicians participating in at least one trial.

  • Engagement in weekly tumor conferences alongside radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists.

  • Support from oncology-trained Advanced Practice Providers (APP).

  • On-call duties will follow an approximate 1:11 rotation.

About Our Northeast Oncology Practice:
  • A cutting-edge facility spanning 18,000 square feet.

  • A dedicated oncology pharmacy certified under USP 800 standards.

  • Onsite laboratory processing and a suite with 16 infusion chairs.

  • Access to patient navigation, oncology dietitian, social work, and genetic counseling services, both remotely and onsite.

Our organization has partnered with a prominent cancer network to provide patients with access to clinical trials through a research and education agreement.

Our oncology program has received recognition from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a Cancer Center of Excellence, being one of only five hospitals in South Carolina and the sole facility in the Midlands to achieve Quality Oncology Practice Initiative certification.
