Job Title: OR Tech - Surgical Tech

Salary Range: $1,344.00 - $1,728.00 weekly (base gross), based on a standard 40-hour workweek (5 days of 8 hours each); this translates to an hourly rate of $33.60 – $43.20.

Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

Available Shifts: Full Time - Variable

Location: Redding, CA

Key Responsibilities

Become a part of a dynamic surgical tech team. We are looking for an experienced Travel OR Tech for a 12-week role in a fast-paced perioperative/operating room environment.

• Prepare and organize sterile instruments and supplies for designated surgical procedures
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout each surgical case
• Assist the surgeon by anticipating needs and providing sterile instruments and supplies during operations

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is mandatory for new hires as of April 2014.
• Completion of an ORT training program or equivalent on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in a surgical setting).
• Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, and Plastics).
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialized surgical fields (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Urology, etc.).
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an OR Tech is required.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated hourly rate for this position ranging from $33.60 to $43.20. This estimate is specific to California and may vary in other locations. The final compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
