Pediatric Electrophysiology
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a talented pediatric electrophysiologist to become a part of our diverse team. The ideal applicant should possess board certification in pediatric cardiology, along with a minimum of one additional year of fellowship training specifically in pediatric electrophysiology. It is essential for candidates to have certification from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examination (IBHRE) and either a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) or a Certified EP Specialist-Pediatrics (CEPS-P) certification, with a preference for CEPS-P. The successful individual will be an energetic and seasoned pediatric electrophysiologist, skilled in device implantation and catheter ablation, ready to bring fresh insights to our programs.
Current Team CompositionOur existing faculty comprises:
- Three surgeons
- Four interventional cardiologists
- Three heart failure/transplant cardiologists
- Five advanced imaging cardiologists
- Two electrophysiologists
- Two adult congenital cardiologists
- One inpatient cardiologist
Currently, we perform between 90-100 electrophysiology studies (EPS) and ablation procedures, along with 25 device implants annually in the catheterization lab. We anticipate an increase in workload in the coming years with the launch of an accredited adult congenital heart program.
