Our organization is expanding a well-established Neurology program located in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

We are in search of a Neurologist who is eager to join a thriving practice alongside a team of highly skilled specialists in one of the nation's fastest-growing counties!

Key responsibilities and highlights include:

  • Collaboration with three established Neurologists and one dedicated Advanced Practice Provider.
  • The Neurology practice operates across two locations: on the campus of our Seacoast facility and at our Carolina Forest site.
  • The new position will be based at the Seacoast practice location.
  • This is a practice-only role with no inpatient responsibilities, promoting a healthy work/life balance.
  • There is NO Stroke call and NO inpatient call required.
  • A robust referral system is in place.
  • Practice hours are Monday to Thursday, with early closure on Fridays.

About Our Seacoast Facility

As the second largest hospital within our system, the Seacoast facility serves as a key anchor for our organization. Recent expansions include a four-story patient tower, a new Emergency Department, a five-room Fast Track area, and state-of-the-art operating rooms, along with an expanded suite for same-day services. This 155-bed facility offers advanced diagnostic imaging, including MRI, 3D mammography, and nuclear medicine. Our medical staff comprises over 200 physicians across more than 38 specialties, focusing on areas such as General Surgery, Joint Replacement Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Cancer Care, Emergency Care, Critical Care, Cardiology, and various rehabilitation services. In 2025, we will launch the first comprehensive Cancer Center in Horry County, located on the Seacoast campus, which will provide medical oncology, infusion services, and radiation oncology all in one location.

About Our Carolina Forest Facility

In 2016, we began our outreach into Carolina Forest, one of the fastest-growing regions in Horry County. Our 43-acre campus in Myrtle Beach features a seven-building complex that offers a wide range of services. Currently, three buildings provide various physician practices and outpatient services, including Family Medicine, Cardiology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, Critical Care, General Surgery, Digestive Health, Rheumatology, and Rehabilitation. Additionally, a free-standing Emergency Department and Surgical Center is set to open in February 2025.

Construction is also underway for a 48-bed hospital designed to meet the needs of the growing population in Horry County and the Grand Strand area. This four-story facility will include operating suites, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services, offering a comprehensive range of medical capabilities. The McLeod Health Carolina Forest hospital is expected to open in 2026, marking the first new hospital built in Horry County since our Seacoast facility opened in 2011.
