Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor, Lung Transplant Pulmonologist
Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Transplant Pulmonologist to become part of the Lung Center and the Section of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Recognized as a leading research institution, particularly in the Southern region, we provide an excellent platform for medical professionals. The selected physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to addressing Lung Failure, Lung Transplantation, and Advanced Lung Diseases. Opportunities in ECMO, Pulmonary Hypertension, Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), or Cardiothoracic ICU will be available based on the candidate's interests and availability. There is also a potential for a Medical Directorship, contingent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience. Our pulmonology department features a robust Interventional Pulmonary program and is at the forefront of advanced pulmonary care, including the only accredited programs for interstitial lung disease and cystic fibrosis in Louisiana. Additionally, we offer an accredited Heart Transplant program, Mechanical Circulatory Support, and advanced heart failure services, along with comprehensive solid organ transplant programs. This role includes competitive continuing medical education (CME) allowances and a comprehensive benefits package, along with exceptional mentorship from experienced physicians.
