The Counseling Center within our organization is looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Adult Psychiatrist with experience in geriatric care to join our outpatient program. This position emphasizes providing exceptional, specialized mental health services to adults, particularly the elderly, in a collaborative, patient-focused setting. It’s a significant opportunity to contribute to the well-being of older individuals in our community.
Our Counseling Center team comprises a skilled, multidisciplinary group committed to delivering supportive care. Our treatment methods include medication management, as well as individual, group, and family therapy. We also provide partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs on-site for patients requiring more intensive care. For those needing inpatient services, we collaborate closely with the Emergency Department, Crisis Social Workers, and Physicians at Bristol Hospital to ensure seamless and coordinated transitions.
