Exciting Opportunity for a GI Hospitalist in South Carolina
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established GI Program at a nonprofit healthcare system in South Carolina. This is an inpatient-only role with a 7 on, 7 off schedule, where the physician will work every other week from Monday to Monday, focusing solely on inpatient cases and procedures.
This position will enhance our well-regarded General and Advanced GI program located in Florence, SC. Our organization serves as the primary provider of advanced and general gastroenterology services for over 1 million patients across the Midlands to the Coast of North and South Carolina. We are dedicated to the field of Gastroenterology and boast a large, well-equipped Endoscopy lab featuring numerous general and advanced procedure rooms, supported by dedicated Anesthesiologists and CRNAs. Additionally, we offer specialized GI space in the operating room.

This role involves providing 7 days of inpatient services, with 10 hours on-site and 14 hours of unrestricted call coverage each day. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in focusing exclusively on inpatient care, including hospital patients and ER consults. Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency, Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC)
- Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship, BE or BC. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
