Seeking Mission-Driven Family Medicine Physician in Asheville, NC
Job Description
Our organization operates as a Community Health Center and is recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), dedicated to serving underprivileged communities in Western North Carolina.
We are currently in search of a family medicine physician who is passionate about our mission. This role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered, integrated, and trauma-informed care to at-risk populations throughout their lives.
Family Medicine Physicians will work collaboratively with teams in behavioral health, pharmacy, dental care, and care management to ensure holistic, integrated services for individuals and families, irrespective of their insurance coverage or financial situation.
QUALIFICATIONS:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution, along with completion of an accredited residency program is mandatory.
A current, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in North Carolina, along with DEA and BLS certifications, is required.
Eligibility for Medicaid and Medicare is essential.
Board Certification is highly preferred.
Experience in community health or outpatient settings is advantageous.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish and/or Russian are a plus.
Experience in HIV care is beneficial.
Base Salary: Ranges from $190,000 to $220,000 (based on a 40-hour work week).
