Position Overview

We are in search of a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist to join a thriving, hospital-affiliated neurology practice.

This role is perfect for a physician eager to integrate into a high-demand program and foster its growth in a collaborative and well-supported atmosphere.

Practice Details

• Focus primarily on outpatient care with responsibilities for inpatient consultations.

• Become part of a well-established and expanding Movement Disorders program.

• Manage a diverse array of conditions, including Parkinson's disease, tremors, dystonia, and other movement disorders.

• Engage in regional and state stroke initiatives.

• Participate in a rotating call schedule for inpatient consultations.

• A 24/7 hospitalist program oversees admissions and primary inpatient care.

Clinical Resources

• Access to EEG and EMG capabilities.

• Utilize advanced imaging technologies, including:

  • 128-slice CT scans.

  • Diffusion-weighted and perfusion MRI.

  • PET/CT scans.

  • Carotid duplex ultrasound.

• Dedicated neuroradiology support available.

Technology

• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the organization.

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.

• Mandatory: Fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
