Lead Family Medicine Physician - Obstetrics Focus
Job Description
Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician with a specialization in Obstetrics to take charge of our Family Medicine Obstetrics (FMOB) team and manage obstetrics within our residency program.
Position Highlights:Oversee clinical operations for the FMOB division.
Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure that OB training aligns with ACGME standards.
Act as the FMOB representative to the OB department.
Work in partnership with residency leadership, OB faculty, and clinical teams to improve access, streamline processes, and enhance performance.
Embody the organization’s mission, vision, and values in all care and educational activities.
MD or DO with an unrestricted medical license in Ohio.
Board-certified in Family Medicine or eligible for certification.
At least 5 years of experience post-residency or 4 years following an OB fellowship.
Proficient in POCUS, obstetric clinic care, and teaching both residents and medical students.
Must meet the credentialing and privileging standards of our organization.
Guide and mentor residents in obstetrics at one of our residency clinic locations.
Promote excellence in both clinical care and education.
Lead quality improvement projects and support innovative care models.
