$270,000 - $300,000

We are currently seeking a Gynecologist who aligns with the mission and values of Harrington Hospital. Join our exceptional team of gynecologists who provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including preventive and wellness examinations that detect early signs of certain cancers and chronic conditions. For patients experiencing reproductive health issues, we conduct thorough evaluations to identify the underlying causes, focusing on achieving excellent outcomes through standard therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver services aligned with the physician's specialty, including new patient consultations, follow-up visits, urgent care, and annual examinations.
  • Provide counseling and education regarding disease management and prevention for patients and their families.
  • Conduct comprehensive care as necessary, including detailed history and physical examinations, reviewing medical records, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests to develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with consultants.
  • Act as a resource for training and orienting new colleagues.
  • Manage in-basket tasks to ensure safe, effective, and timely patient care while maintaining communication with staff and fellow providers.
  • Timely completion of all required medical records as per departmental and organizational needs.
  • Provide on-call services as needed for the ambulatory practice.
  • Offer ER and inpatient call services if required by hospital privileges.
  • Maintain all necessary credentials, including state licensure and board certifications.
  • Commit to ongoing quality improvement; adhere to institutional and departmental policies; comply with health and safety regulations; and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • This position may involve supervising and/or training advanced practice providers (APPs).

Position Qualifications:License/Certification/Education:

Required:

  • Doctoral Degree, MD or DO.
  • Current Massachusetts State License, Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration, and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
  • Board eligible or board certified in the relevant specialty or specialties.
