Job Description
Our organization is in search of a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Urologist to become a part of our Urology team at Franklin Hospital located in Farmington, Maine.
The new Urologist will join an expanding Urology practice within our network, collaborating with a full-time Physician Assistant on-site. The Urology department at Franklin offers comprehensive care for a variety of adult urologic conditions. Our outpatient services feature urodynamic testing, advanced practice providers in an office setting, and cutting-edge cystoscopic technology equipped with fluoroscopic capabilities.
Franklin Hospital operates as a 25-bed critical access facility, supported by a robust provider network that includes four local adult primary care practices, all utilizing the Epic system. Additionally, we offer a full-service Emergency department, rehabilitation services, general and orthopedic surgery, OBGYN, interventional pain management, and various outpatient specialty practices. Our dedicated and skilled caregivers leverage advanced medical technology to address the healthcare needs of the Franklin County area and beyond. This flourishing urology practice is set to take over the patient base of a retiring urologist who has specialized in HoLEP, attracting patients from across the state.
Qualifications:- MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Experience in General Urology is preferred but not mandatory.
- A four-day work week.
