Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist Opportunity

We are seeking a Locum Obstetrics/Gynecologist to begin as soon as possible for ongoing work near Tapteal West, WA. A Washington state license is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Shift Requirements: We are looking for providers who can cover multiple (5-8) in-house 24-hour call shifts each month on a long-term basis.
• Call Type: In-House.
• Practice Environment: Inpatient.
• Essential Skills:
  • Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
  • Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
  • Performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds
  • Conducting routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps
  • Decision-making for cesarean sections and handling complicated deliveries
  • Experience with C-sections, breech births, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
  • Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations
• Preferred Skills:
  • Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) ultrasounds
  • Surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic procedures
  • Operative/major procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive laparoscopic surgeries

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS certification is required.
• Fellowship: Preferred.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Washington or hold IMLC.
• Trauma Level: Level 2 Trauma experience is necessary.
• EMR System: Familiarity with Epic is preferred.
• Credentialing Process: Takes approximately 90 to 120 days.

Compensation and Benefits

• Referral Bonus: Earn a $500 bonus for any referral who completes 30 days of work.
• Competitive Pay: Includes a weeknight call premium if called in, and weekend call is compensated at 6 regular hours per day when called in.
• Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly pay, along with housing, car rental, gas, mileage (for personal vehicle use), parking, tolls, and baggage fees.
