Our innovative, patient-focused oral surgery practice located in Hayden, ID is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to become part of our expanding team on a part-time basis. There is potential for increased working days as demand rises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a comprehensive range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and pathology management

  • Assess, diagnose, and create personalized treatment plans for patients requiring surgical intervention for oral health issues

  • Work collaboratively with referring dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to ensure the highest level of patient care

  • Administer anesthesia, including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation, in line with state regulations and patient requirements

  • Maintain precise and comprehensive clinical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA and practice standards

  • Provide education to patients and/or guardians regarding post-operative care, potential risks, and expected outcomes of procedures

  • Ensure the surgical operatory is sterile and equipped with the necessary tools, supplies, and staff support

  • Engage in continuing education to stay updated on advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery

  • Help uphold the practice's reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate patient care

Qualifications:
  • DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental institution

  • Completion of a residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

  • Board-certified or board-eligible status

  • Active Dental License in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain) and/or Active Dental License in Idaho

  • Current DEA License
