Location: Meridian, Idaho
Practice Type: New Oral Surgery Practice (Supported by our organization)
Opening Date: Aiming for late September 2026 (dependent on construction progress)

We are in search of a talented and driven Oral Surgeon to become part of a cutting-edge oral surgery practice set to launch in Meridian, ID in early fall 2026. This presents a remarkable chance to contribute to the establishment of a practice from its inception, backed by robust operational and clinical support from our organization.
The new practice will enjoy a solid referral network from well-established pediatric dental offices in the vicinity, including reputable names in the community.
Schedule & Growth Plan

Initial Commitment: 12 days per month
Beginning with around 2 clinical days and 1 marketing/referral development day each week
Near-Term Growth: Rapid transition to 3 clinical days weekly
Long-Term Opportunity: Potential to expand to 4 days per week as patient volume increases

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
Extractions (including impacted third molars)
Dental implants and bone grafting
Exposure and bonding procedures
IV sedation and general anesthesia cases
Assess patients, formulate treatment plans, and secure informed consent
Collaborate with referring dentists to ensure seamless continuity of care
Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation
Engage in marketing and relationship-building initiatives with referral partners, particularly during the initial growth phase
Ensure adherence to all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Requirements (Idaho)
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental institution
Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
Possession of an active or eligibility for an Idaho dental license
Active DEA registration
Permit for administering IV sedation/general anesthesia in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical abilities with a focus on patient-centered care
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to engage in practice growth and referral development
