Position Overview
We currently have an opening for a Board Certified Interventional Nephrologist. Join a dynamic nephrology division supported by two seasoned Interventional Nephrologists. Collaborate with a total of 20 nephrology providers, including physicians and advanced practice clinicians, and engage in care across 15+ dialysis units. Enjoy well-structured rounding schedules, robust operational support, access to cutting-edge interventional facilities, and a dedicated procedural team. Experience an integrated multispecialty environment with smooth referrals and a shared electronic medical record (EMR).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interventional nephrology procedures (e.g., vascular access management, fistulograms, thrombectomies, catheter placements).
Deliver both inpatient and outpatient nephrology care.
Participate in dialysis rounding across assigned units.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Engage in quality initiatives and contribute to program development.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology.
Fellowship training in Interventional Nephrology is preferred.
Must be able to secure Connecticut licensure prior to commencing practice.
Excellent communication skills and a dedication to team-oriented care.
