Physician - Endocrinology - Full Time Academic

Job Opportunity: Endocrinologist

Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join us in a full-time faculty role. The academic rank will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. This position involves treating patients with both common and rare endocrine disorders, supported by robust departments including Medical and Surgical Oncology, ENT-Head and Neck Surgery, Neurosurgery, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in all faculty-related activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Provide patient care in outpatient settings.
• Conduct inpatient consultations for various hospital services, including surgical, obstetrics and gynecology, labor and delivery, and psychiatry.
• Participate in clinical or laboratory research.
• Contribute to community service initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or an equivalent terminal degree.
• Eligibility for a medical license in Louisiana.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
