Our organization is thrilled to announce the expansion of our Medical Education OBGYN Clinic and is eager to welcome a new physician to our dedicated team. We are in search of a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our well-established, academically driven practice situated at our hospital in Kansas City.


Position Overview

  • Become part of a collaborative group consisting of 5 OB/GYN physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers in a dynamic, patient-focused academic environment.

  • Provide a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecologic services, balancing both inpatient and outpatient duties.

  • This position emphasizes teaching within a structured residency program, where the physician will supervise residents and engage in patient care alongside them rather than independently.

  • Enjoy a well-structured schedule with only two on-site night shifts required each month.

  • Utilize a fully integrated Epic EMR system.

  • Qualifications: Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and eligible for medical licensure in Missouri and Kansas; preference will be given to those with prior experience.

Academic & Teaching Duties

This role presents a significant opportunity to contribute to medical education at various levels. Physicians in this position will:

  • Oversee and mentor OB/GYN residents in both inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as guide medical students during their rotations through the clinic and hospital services.

  • Provide direct supervision in labor and delivery, surgical procedures, triage, postpartum care, and gynecologic interventions.

  • Engage in bedside teaching, case discussions, and offer guidance in clinical decision-making.

  • Assist residents in developing procedural skills and independent clinical judgment.

  • Foster a positive educational atmosphere that promotes professionalism, accountability, and high-quality patient care.

  • Enhance student learning through clinical instruction, case-based discussions, and evaluations.

  • Participate in didactic sessions, conferences, and quality improvement projects as part of the academic mission.
