In the role of Cardiologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients who require specialized cardiac care. You will be part of a collaborative team model, working alongside primary care and specialty providers, as well as community specialists and skilled nursing facilities, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical care to a diverse and expanding patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical assessments for patients with specialized cardiac conditions.
Formulate and execute comprehensive care plans, including prescribing medications, recommending exercises, and ordering diagnostic tests such as echocardiography, stress tests, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, and cardiac device evaluations.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care effectively, ensuring continuity through communication with external health and social service agencies.
Act as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists, consulting on patient care issues.
Educate and counsel individuals and groups regarding specific healthcare needs, serving as a specialist in your field.
Contribute to the creation of health education programs.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
Possession of current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.
Current active Massachusetts DPH Controlled Substances Registration or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on specialty.
