Position OverviewSpecialized role in Advanced Gastroenterology with a focus on ERCP and EUS procedures.
Opportunity to initiate and enhance EUS services while expanding ERCP coverage.
Well-structured schedule: 2.5 days dedicated to clinic work and 2.5 days for procedures/OR/ASC.
Exclusive Advanced GI call rotation, distinct from general GI responsibilities.
Flexible scheduling options available, including a potential 4-day workweek.

This advanced position emphasizes intricate gastroenterology procedures and patient care:
Advanced Procedural ServicesERCP (both diagnostic and therapeutic).
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) - a chance to initiate and develop the program.
Advanced endoscopy performed in hospital, ASC, and OR environments.
Complex GI interventions and cancer staging procedures.
2.5 days per week in the outpatient clinic.
Inpatient consultations and procedures.
Collaboration with a robust existing general GI team.
Care for adult patients requiring advanced GI treatment, including:
Pancreaticobiliary disorders.
Complex bile duct and pancreatic issues.
GI cancers (staging and management).
Therapeutic interventions for strictures, stones, and leaks.
Challenging esophageal, gastric, and colonic conditions.
High demand for procedures with immediate ramp-up potential.
A blend of advanced procedures, clinic visits, and inpatient consultations.
Strong referral network from general GI and community healthcare providers.
Teaching roles available with the upcoming medical school (launching Summer 2025).
Engagement in new residency programs currently in development.
