Compensation

Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Base pay can reach up to $18.75 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

The Small Engine Technician will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing a variety of outdoor small engine products, including chainsaws, snowblowers, lawnmowers, UTVs, and ATVs. Providing outstanding customer service is a key aspect of this role.

  • Diagnose and repair small engine outdoor power equipment and recreational vehicles.
  • Deliver exceptional service and enhance the shopping experience for customers.
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading products, locating parts, and addressing inquiries regarding repairs.
  • Document repairs on work orders, track units in the shop, and complete and close out work orders.
  • Assist with warranty claims and ensure timely filing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the completion dates of their repairs.
  • Participate in training sessions and seminars for repair technicians.
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be available to work evenings and at least every other weekend
  • Have prior experience in small engine and/or automotive maintenance
  • Possess customer service experience
  • Have previous retail experience
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills
