We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at a prominent Academic Medical Center nestled in the scenic West Virginia Mountains. Position/Program Highlights:- Become part of a collaborative team consisting of 10 clinical faculty members and 6 Advanced Practice Providers, including General Gastroenterologists, transplant surgeons, GI subspecialists, and Advanced Endoscopists.
- Open to General Gastroenterologists, GI Hospitalists, and specialists in various gastroenterology subspecialties.
- Opportunity to expand outpatient clinics and endoscopic procedures across Charleston.
- Participate in 3 weeks of overnight call coverage annually.
- Access to a dedicated clinical support team.
- Strong collaborative relationships with colorectal surgery, GI pathology, GI radiology, and Pediatric GI.
- Integrated practice model with a robust internal referral network.
- Dedicated clinical research infrastructure for gastroenterology—research participation is encouraged but not mandatory.
- 24/7 reliable hospitalist coverage available on-site.
- Teaching opportunities available, with support for GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programs.
- Faculty appointment based on experience, with guaranteed protected time for research.
- Support for H1B and J1 visa applications.
