Pediatric Electrophysiologist
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a Pediatric Electrophysiologist to become part of our esteemed Children's Hospital. Ideal candidates should be board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Cardiology, having completed an additional year of specialized training in pediatric or congenital electrophysiology. Eligibility for licensure in California is also required. A proven track record in clinical excellence, particularly in managing complex arrhythmias and implanted cardiac devices for patients with congenital heart conditions, is essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of pediatric cardiologists, offering a comprehensive range of clinical services. Areas of expertise include:
- Multi-modal diagnostic imaging
- Interventional cardiology
- Electrophysiology
- Fetal cardiology
- Heart failure management
- Cardiac transplantation
- Pulmonary hypertension
Responsibilities will encompass both invasive and non-invasive arrhythmia management, oversight of implanted cardiac devices, and general clinical duties. The role also involves collaborating with the lab team to cultivate a progressive work environment, ensuring high-quality care, and promoting ongoing research initiatives in pediatric and congenital electrophysiology. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as an attending physician in the pediatric cardiology division and contribute to the educational programs at our medical school.
Academic OpportunitiesAcademic appointments will be available at the Assistant Professor level or higher, contingent upon prior experience.
About Our Children's HospitalOur Children's Hospital is a 364-bed tertiary/quaternary facility located in Southern California, dedicated to serving the pediatric population of the Inland Empire and the broader Southern California area. A state-of-the-art medical center was inaugurated in 2021, housing advanced pediatric cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and catheterization labs equipped with cutting-edge technology. Our Heart program has been recognized among the top 10 by a leading publication and performs around 300 cardiac surgeries annually, alongside numerous catheterization procedures. We conduct approximately 9,000 echocardiograms each year, including 1,100 fetal echocardiograms.

Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $296,000 to $345,900, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
