The Department of Psychiatry at our organization is on the lookout for full-time Addiction Psychiatrists to deliver outpatient and/or residential services at our Brockton and Jamaica Plain locations. Our facility serves as a national hub for medical research and is a key referral center for the New England area. We maintain academic partnerships with prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Boston University Medical School.
We have two openings at the Jamaica Plain campus, which will involve a blend of direct clinical responsibilities in residential and transitional care, outpatient substance abuse clinics, and a methadone clinic. Additional duties may include teaching and supervising trainees, such as medical students, residents, and fellows, potential site directorship for addiction training, administrative responsibilities, and the pursuit of academic interests, including research opportunities. An academic faculty position will be arranged at either Harvard Medical School or Boston University School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will engage in a balanced combination of direct clinical care, teaching, and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students. The appointment level—Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor—will be based on the candidate's experience, training, and accomplishments. This role offers a highly competitive salary, a generous benefits package, and eligibility for up to $200,000 in Educational Debt Reduction, along with a $10,000 Recruitment/Relocation Incentive.
Requirements:
- Board Eligible in General Psychiatry and/or board certified in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine
- A strong commitment to serving Veterans
- Excellent clinical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
- A desire to collaborate within an exceptional interprofessional team
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
