Obstetrician Gynecologist Hospitalist
Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at our Lower Manhattan facility. This role will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Reporting to the Site Chief and the Director of Labor and Delivery, the Hospitalist will be responsible for the following:
Deliver in-house obstetrical coverage and oversee clinical care for patients in the labor and delivery unit.
Manage and supervise care for antepartum and postpartum patients.
Oversee gynecologic consultations, including those that may require surgical intervention.
Act as the Attending for Physician Assistants.
Engage in ongoing medical education and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Base Salary Range: $275,000

The stated range applies to full-time roles and does not include bonuses, clinical incentive pay, or benefits. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including internal equity, specialty, training, and the needs of the hospital and community.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should possess a medical degree, have successfully completed a four-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and be either board eligible or board certified in the specialty. Candidates must also hold or be eligible to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and education.
