Our organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to become a part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. This role is essential in providing exceptional rehabilitation and senior care within a nurturing, family-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide hands-on treatment to residents and patients.
  • Assist individuals in regaining strength, mobility, and independence after illness, surgery, or injury.
  • Implement tailored treatment plans and lead therapeutic exercises.
  • Support gait and balance training, as well as functional mobility activities, including transfers and daily living tasks.
  • Prioritize safety, dignity, and comfort for all patients.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, maintaining regular communication with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as appropriate within your scope of practice.
  • Accurately document all treatments and patient responses in the electronic medical record, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Follow infection control protocols and safe patient-handling practices, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and professional ethics.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable, positive attitude.
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
