With a strong infrastructure comprising 14 locations and 3 advanced Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), we deliver comprehensive digestive health services throughout Central Connecticut. We are in search of a dedicated Gastroenterologist to become part of our collaborative team in Meriden.

The Role

This position provides a well-rounded clinical experience, enabling you to manage a varied patient demographic through office consultations while performing a significant number of procedures.

Clinical Settings: Divide your time between our contemporary office in Meriden, our physician-owned ASCs for outpatient procedures, and Midstate Medical Center, a 156-bed acute care facility for inpatient services.

Scope of Practice: Focus primarily on General GI. While advanced GI skills (ERCP/EUS) are not mandatory, they would be considered a valuable addition to our practice.

Travel: Flexibility to travel to our various satellite offices as necessary to ensure our patient community receives exceptional care.

Call & Hospital Coverage

Balanced Lifestyle: Enjoy a manageable 1:4 call rotation.

Inpatient Coverage: Provide expert GI consultations and emergency procedures at Midstate Medical Center during your assigned rotation.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Strong clinical and endoscopic skills.
  • Active (or eligible for) Connecticut Medical License.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to medicine.
  • H-1B and J-1 Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
