The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolic Diseases at our organization is on the lookout for a candidate who is either board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. The selected Endocrinologist will engage in clinical practice, research, and educational activities in the beautiful city of Charleston.

This accolade highlights our commitment to providing innovative treatments and personalized care to assist patients in managing their diabetes effectively.

Essential Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

  • A strong academic focus, enthusiasm for teaching, and a commitment to community outreach.

Position Highlights
  • The role involves treating a diverse range of endocrine disorders, including those related to the thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary, bones, gonads, and metabolic issues, alongside diabetes management.

  • A newly established joint endocrine/obstetric clinic is now operational, with telemedicine initiatives in the pipeline.

  • You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising sixteen physicians, ten nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and dietitians.

  • Your teaching responsibilities will primarily involve educating six Endocrinology fellows, as well as rotating residents and medical students.
