The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolic Diseases at our organization is on the lookout for a candidate who is either board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. The selected Endocrinologist will engage in clinical practice, research, and educational activities in the beautiful city of Charleston.

With a remarkable fifty-year legacy in clinical, translational, and fundamental research focused on diabetes complications, our Division has earned recognition as a High Performing entity in Diabetes care by a leading national publication. This accolade highlights our commitment to providing innovative treatments and personalized care to assist patients in managing their diabetes effectively.

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

• The role involves treating a diverse range of endocrine disorders, including those related to the thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary, bones, gonads, and metabolic issues, alongside diabetes management.

• A newly established joint endocrine/obstetric clinic is now operational, with telemedicine initiatives in the pipeline.

• You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising sixteen physicians, ten nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and dietitians.

• Your teaching responsibilities will primarily involve educating six Endocrinology fellows, as well as rotating residents and medical students.

• This is a faculty position with an academic rank and salary that reflect your qualifications, expertise, and achievements.
