Be the backbone of our summer operations! We need a proactive, mobile leader to support our camp staff and ensure our high-energy science programs run flawlessly across Northern Virginia. If you thrive in the field and love operational leadership, let's talk!

On-the-move, autonomous, and highly impactful. You are the ultimate support system for our camp crew! Full paid training on our curriculum and safety protocols is provided.

The Essentials
- Dates: June 8th - August 21st, 2026
- Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Location: Northern Virginia field sites (Must live within ~10 miles of Silver Spring, MD)
- Pay: $170 per day + mileage reimbursement
- Field Leadership: Visit ~4 camp locations daily to mentor counselors and monitor program quality
- Logistics & Support: Deliver emergency supplies and gear so the science never stops
- Problem Solve: Act as the first responder for on-site issues, staff call-outs, or student behavior management
- Oversight: Provide daily performance reports back to the main administrative office
- Leadership: 1 - 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity
- Youth Background: 1 - 2 years of experience working directly with children.
- Wheels: A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for daily field travel (Required)
- Clearance: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
