Class A CDL Local Driver - New CDL Graduates Welcome

Beast Mode Truckin seeks Class A CDL drivers, including recent graduates, to operate company-provided 53' refrigerated trailers on a dedicated account based in Johnstown, NY. Drivers are home daily.

Compensation and benefits

• $1500 - $1,700 per week (dependent on miles)
• Pay per mile: $0.69–$0.81
• Training pay: $680 for drivers with under six months’ experience
• Stop pay: $10 for first stop; $15 for each additional stop
• Short-haul pay: $25 for loads under 50 miles
• Benefits (medical, dental, 401(k), PTO) available after 30 days

Duties and equipment

• Operate 53' refrigerated (reefer) trailers on a solid dedicated account
• 100% no-touch freight with a mix of drop-and-hook and occasional live store load/unloads
• Slip-seat trucks
• Average approximately 1,800 miles per week

Schedule and home time

• Home daily
• Day or night driving; operation covers seven days with a typical 5–6 day work week (weekends not guaranteed off)

Training

• Structured mentor program: trainees run 4–6 weeks OTR with a company trainer before transitioning to solo assignments

Minimum qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; minimum age 21
• Graduation from an accredited truck driving school (minimum 120 hours); recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Reasonably clean driving record with no major accidents, major violations, or suspensions within the past five years
• No recent DUI convictions; certain felony or misdemeanor convictions or recent safety‑related terminations may disqualify employment. All criminal offenses will be reviewed for safety-related disqualifications.
• Demonstrated stable work history (for example, at least 6 months of employment in the last year or 1 year in the last three years; reasonable exceptions for schooling/training may apply)
• Able to pass pre-employment urine and hair drug screens and meet federal and company safety and background check requirements
• Must reside within 50 miles of Johnstown, NY
