Metalcrafters NC is hiring a Stainless Steel & Aluminum Fabricator to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality stainless steel components for custom fabrication projects including stairs, railings, and architectural metal products.

What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Cut, shape, and assemble stainless steel & aluminum materials
- Perform TIG and MIG welding, grinding, polishing, and finishing
- Ensure accurate measurements and high-quality results
- Inspect finished work and correct any defects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all shop safety procedures and standards
- Work alongside fabrication teams to meet production deadlines
- Utilize the Metalcrafters app for accurate job tracking and accountability
- Experience in stainless steel & aluminum fabrication
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG (push pull) welding
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to think quickly and problem solve
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with polishing and finishing stainless steel products
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read and execute from detailed shop drawings
- Reliable and punctual—ready to work on time every day
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (periodic updates required)
