Sterling Engineering is looking for an Invoice Reconciler in Naperville, IL. This opportunity is with a well-established organization supporting large-scale utility projects.
Job Duties:
- Review and reconcile project invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support accounting, finance, and project controls functions
- Track materials from ordering through receipt and verify against invoices
- Work with purchase requisitions and purchase orders throughout the procurement process
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, project controls, or related field
- Experience with invoice review and accounts payable/receivable
- Understanding of procurement processes and purchasing workflows
- Experience working in a corporate environment with strong business communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Preferred: Experience with Maximo or Oracle
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
