Autobody Technician

Heiman Fire is looking to hire an Autobody Tecl1nician responsible for helping in the paint process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble parts to prepare for the refinishing process
• Sand, grind, mud and prep surfaces for painting
• Read specs and job descriptions for each project
• Complete any repairs and touch-ups on various trucks
• Perform buffing techniques to achieve the desired finish
• Help with the priming and painting process
• Clean and detail equipment prior to customer inspection
• Clean and maintain tools and paint equipment
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience with autobody repair or automotive body shop preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Strong Mathematical skills
• Attention to details
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 100 lbs
