Position: Accounts Payable Specialist II

Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $23 - $26 / Hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Openings: 1

Start Date: ASAP (pending completion of onboarding requirements)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable III professional to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in high-volume accounts payable environments, particularly in large companies or healthcare settings. You will be responsible for managing complex vendor interactions, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and statements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely.
  • Manage credit holds and work with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements efficiently to maintain accurate accounts.
  • Handle higher-level escalation calls with vendors to resolve payment or account issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to generate reports, track payments, and streamline AP processes.
  • Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end closing activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a large company or healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve escalated vendor issues.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
