We are seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant certification to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role focuses on performing structural repairs and modifications for piston-powered aircraft, including Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, and other general aviation platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $25 – $33 per hour (depending on experience)

The A&P Mechanic – Aircraft Structures will be responsible for structural inspections, repairs, modifications, and fabrication on piston-powered aircraft. The role requires expertise in sheet metal, composites, and riveted structures, ensuring compliance with FAA standards while supporting operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural repairs, modifications, and fabrication on airframes in compliance with FAA and OEM specifications.
• Inspect, repair, and replace aircraft sheet metal, composites, and structural components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and documented per FAA regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to maintain quality standards and operational timelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid FAA A&P Certificate required.
• 2+ years of experience with aircraft structural work, preferably on piston aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, etc.).

Ideal Qualifications

• Proficient in sheet metal fabrication, riveting, and composite repairs.
• Ability to interpret engineering instructions and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
