Regional Business Development Specialist | Pennsylvania

Our client, a leading Regional P&C Insurance Compnay, is expanding their footprint in Pennsylvania and seeking to add a driven Regional Business Development Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and managing agency relationships, driving new business growth, and supporting expansion efforts across an assigned territory. This position requires a highly motivated, personable, and adaptable individual who thrives in a relationship-driven environment. This role offers flexibility in how you engage with agents, with a mix of in-person and virtual interaction, along with travel throughout the assigned region.

• Develop and maintain relationships with independent agents across an assigned Pennsylvania territory, driving new business opportunities.
• Prospect and onboard new agency partners through cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
• Manage and support a portfolio of existing agents, including those inherited upon onboarding, ensuring strong engagement and production.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for agents, understanding their needs and aligning product offerings accordingly.

• 3 - 5+ years of proven sales or business development experience in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting agency relationships.
• Ability to build relationships, prospect new business, and manage a territory independently.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

• $70,000 - $95,000 Base Salary (depending on experience) plus 10-20% Annual Target Bonus
