Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 / Hourly

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in high-volume accounts payable? Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team in Nashville. This role focuses on vendor setup, invoice processing, and reconciliations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with teams, and supporting efficient AP operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Process and enter invoices accurately and on time, including both PO and non-PO workflows
· Reconcile vendor statements and quickly resolve discrepancies
· Manage vendor setup and validation to ensure accurate and compliant information
· Support ACH payment setup and maintenance for vendors
· Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on payment or invoice issues
· Maintain organized documentation for audits and reporting purposes
· Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency
· Ensure all AP tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and controls
· Assist with additional accounting or administrative projects as assigned
Qualifications
· 2+ years of accounts payable or related experience, preferably in high-volume environments
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with AP/ERP systems a plus
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
