Role Overview

As an A&P Mechanic, you will be instrumental in maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of business-class transport aircraft. Based in Ypsilanti, MI, you will collaborate with the Sub-Base Manager, FAA representatives, and other key stakeholders to deliver exceptional maintenance services. Your work will directly impact the safety and reliability of private aviation operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance: Ensure all aircraft meet FAA airworthiness standards and company regulatory requirements.
  • Inspection & Testing: Perform detailed inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft airframes and engines.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Repair or replace defective components using technical expertise and tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, FAA representatives, and manufacturers to support maintenance objectives.
  • Documentation: Analyze test results and follow technical manuals to ensure precise and compliant maintenance.
  • Precision Tools: Utilize advanced instruments to measure, adjust, and ensure the longevity of aircraft components.
  • Operational Support: Provide hands-on support for seamless aircraft operations, including emergency tasks when required.

Qualifications
  • Certification: Valid A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanic certification.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in inspecting, testing, and repairing aircraft.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-Oriented: Precision and accuracy in all maintenance and repair tasks.
