General Manager (GM) for LIPS RESTAURANT & DRAG SHOW PALACE

Lips — New York’s ultimate in drag dining for 30 years — is seeking a General Manager to lead our vibrant NYC venue. This role requires a dynamic leader with hospitality and restaurant management experience, passionate about drag culture and delivering unforgettable guest experiences. You'll oversee daily operations, staff, and the iconic drag shows that make Lips a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a high-volume entertainment restaurant
• Ensure food and beverage costs are in line
• Scheduling and payroll
• Liquor purchasing
• Lead a medium-sized team of 10-30 staff, providing training and performance oversight
• Ensure exceptional customer experience through direct involvement and staff guidance
• Oversee daily drag show production and coordinate with performers
• Monitor inventory and vendor relations to maintain operational efficiency
• Collaborate with marketing to drive promotions and audience engagement
• Resolve conflicts promptly to maintain a positive environment
• Utilize POS and staff scheduling software effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in hospitality management
• Experience in staff supervision and customer service
• Skills in conflict resolution and marketing fundamentals
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
