Field Technician

The Field Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications and audiovisual systems. Working independently or within a small team, the technician ensures all equipment functions optimally while adhering to safety protocols. This role involves local travel and requires strong technical, communication, and time management skills to deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install telecommunications and audiovisual equipment at client sites
• Perform regular maintenance and equipment testing to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Document work activities using mobile app reporting and paper reports
• Adhere to safety protocols during all field operations
• Manage time effectively to complete assignments within scheduled timeframes
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in field service
