As a Front Desk Clerk - Facility Access Monitor, you will monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules, verify identification of employees and visitors, and complete other safety and asset protection activities within a facility environment. Weekly pay starting at $18/hr and great benefits available!
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous asset protection, loss prevention, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and patrol throughout the facility.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in physically demanding or stressful situations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to protect property and maintain order on the premises.
- Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
- Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the proper closure of doors, windows, and gates.
- Answer facility alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Operate screening and detecting devices to check individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Inspect and adjust access systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and report or escort violators from the premises when necessary.
