Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An excellent contract opportunity is available for skilled school psychologists seeking hands-on experience working with elementary-aged students. This full-time role is based onsite and spans across two different school sites, serving PreK-5th grade students. You'll collaborate with a second psychologist to support the needs of four elementary schools, ensuring students receive effective and comprehensive psychological services throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working with PreK-5th grade students preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to effectively manage a multi-site caseload
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, educators, and families
Position Highlights:
- Contract assignment from August 11, 2026, through May 24, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Two positions available, each splitting time between two elementary sites
- Entirely onsite responsibilities, allowing for meaningful connections with school communities
- Focused caseload serving elementary students, offering variety and professional growth
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations for students referred for services
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families on interventions, supports, and educational planning
- Participate as an active member of data teams, special education teams, and IEP meetings
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success
- Maintain timely and accurate records, documentation, and reports
