This position offers unparalleled exposure to a 28-bed stepdown PCU/IMCU unit serving a diverse cardiac population, including STEMI and NSTEMI cases. You’ll work with a patient ratio of 1:3-4, utilizing advanced cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors, and may float to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients as needed. Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar-sized PCU/IMCU setting
  • Documented PCU/Stepdown experience
  • Cardiac experience including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain
  • Proficient with cardiac drips: Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Willingness to provide all demographic and credentialing data, including a badge-appropriate photo

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care to a diverse cardiac population
  • Manage and titrate advanced cardiac drips
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team
  • Monitor telemetry and stepdown patients, ensuring timely interventions
  • Float as needed within the unit for patient care assignments
