LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Title Processor/Closer for our Title Agency client located in the Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate will have strong title agency experience, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders to deliver accurate, on-time closings.

What You'll Do
  • Open and manage residential title files through the full closing cycle
  • Order and review title searches, title commitments, payoffs, HOA information, and related documents
  • Clear title issues including liens, judgments, and other curative items, following up with all required parties
  • Prepare, balance, and revise settlement statements (ALTA/CD) in coordination with lenders
  • Communicate proactively with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to keep transactions on track
  • Prepare closing packets and coordinate closings, including notarizing documents as required
  • Ensure escrow requirements are met, funds are handled accurately, and files are complete for recording
  • Support post-closing tasks including recording follow-up and title policy issuance
What We're Looking For
  • Active Notary Public license, or willingness to obtain one upon hire
  • Recent experience working within a title company or title agency in a processor and/or closer capacity
  • Hands-on experience with title commitments, curative work, settlement statements, and closing documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive financial and legal documents
  • Professional, customer-focused communication skills (phone, email, and in person)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of SoftPro Select or similar title/settlement software (SoftPro strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of escrow accounting and residential recording requirements
  • Experience coordinating closely with lenders, agents, and attorneys in a high-volume residential environment
  • Exposure to a variety of residential loan types (purchase, refinance, reverse mortgage)
Work Location / Schedule
  • Knoxville, TN
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary of $60,000, plus performance-based bonuses
  • Benefits package available
This role offers access to a benefits package that includes health insurance, with eligibility based on employment status and plan requirements.

Pay Details: $57,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
