This travel assignment places you in a busy 28-bed progressive care/intermediate care (PCU/IMCU) unit serving a high-acuity cardiac population. You'll be caring for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac surgery, and chest pain, with ratios of 1:3-4. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract position

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Documented PCU experience in your work history
- Minimum 2 years in a comparably sized facility
- Direct experience with cardiac populations and drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
- Familiarity with telemetry and lower acuity care preferred
- Must provide all demographic documentation and a badge-appropriate photo
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical care to patients in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU, primarily focusing on cardiac cases
- Monitor patients receiving cardiac drips and support interventions
- Assess and triage acute changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- May float to care for telemetry patients within the unit
